What is MK Magnetics, Inc. and what does it do?
MK Magnetics, Inc. is a core manufacturer, founded in April 2003, to fill an industry need for the highest quality tape wound soft magnetic cores. We sell cores domestically and internationally and have been shipping high quality cores since June 2003. MK Magnetics maintains a quality control system to the requirements of ISO 9001:2015.
What does MK Magnetics manufacture?
MK Magnetics specializes in the production of custom and standard tape wound soft magnetic cores. All of the cores we sell are manufactured on site in Adelanto, CA. We do not subcontract any of our manufacturing.
Which core configurations do you offer?
MK Magnetics offers an extensive and varied array of core configurations. Configurations include cut cores (sometimes referred to as C-cores and E-cores), bars/blocks, toroidal shaped cores including cased (aluminum, nylon), epoxy coated cores, cut-in-half toroids (current clamps), and gapped toroids. Core size is not an issue in manufacturing. Our quality cores can be from hundredths of a pound to several thousand pounds.
In what types of materials do you offer your cores?
We offer one of the largest selections of material types and thicknesses available in the industry. The materials used include nanocrystalline, amorphous, silicon-iron, nickel alloys, and cobalt alloys. Thicknesses range from 0.0005 inches to 0.014 inches.
